The Centre for Women and Development organised a rally in support of the plantation workers who are protesting for their daily wage to be raised to Rs 1,000.
Women, university students and other organisations gathered together, marched along the Jaffna bus stand area, gathered near the Veerasingam Hall and conducted a meeting.
