Under this topic, two programmes were implemented: one in Jaffna and one in Puthukkudiyiruppu.
The programme at the Jaffna Public Library was conducted with the participation of sixty-five members from eight CBOs from Jaffna, Kilinochchi and Mullaitivu. The resource persons were Mr. Jeganathan Thatparan, Lawyer, and Mr. A. Varatharajaperumal, Attorney-at-Law. They explained the objectives of the DAP programme, the challenges faced by the community, the facts to be included in the transitional justice programme, the role of CBOs in the transitional justice process and how these messages can be taken to society.
